donaghadee georgian renovations

I’m delighted to be working with these clients who are re-purposing and renovating their charming, seaside, listed, Georgian terrace house which has been divided into two rental properties since the 1980s but has recently become their home in which to retire by the sea (lucky them!).  We’re exploring ways in which we can make an old, stone, single-glazed property much more energy efficient by adding insulation and upgrading the heating system.  Listed Building Consent has recently been applied for and we’re starting to chat to builders and tradesmen about costing and logistics.  Here’s a postcard of The Parade in the 1910s (it’s one of the two-storey houses in the distance) – still a beautiful spot for a site visit today.
